1.Registration is Required by phone no later than September 25,2025: Call 337-462-3135.

2. Hay bale must be standard 24”:x32-36”. Bales may be displayed laying on their side or standing.

3. Entries will judged on adherence to theme: 96 years of Cultivating the Land by Hand “

Visual appeal, construction, and creativity. This contest will not be judge on an educational .

4. Paint may be applied. 

5. Hay bales will be place in the Floral building for display the duration of the fair. 

6. No political party signs allowed.

7. Signage indicating the creators of the bale must be placed near or on the Hale bale.

8. Decorations may be picked up on Oct. 5,2025

Entries entered in the contest MUST fit into one of the following :

 

K-5 ELEMENTARY

6-8 JUNIOR HIGH

9-12 HIGH SCHOOL

 

ONLY 4 ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED PER SCHOOL .

Schools split into multiple locations will be considered one for this competition.

If a school refuses the space it will become available.
