RULES:
SPECIAL RULES
1. Civic, Commercial, Church/nonprofit, & Public Official:
You are only allowed 1(one) Float/vehicle entry per group.
​
2. Each Entry must be registered and pay the associated fees.
​
3. No extracurricular activity vehicles allowed in the parade; only state registered vehicles and floats.
4. Vehicle Clubs ( jeeps, side by side, cars, trucks , motorcycles): Only 1 (one) entry per club on a first- come, first- served basis.
ALL NON- STREET LEGAL VEHICLES MUST BE TRAILERED.

PLEASE LOOK FOR PARADE ATTENDANTS IN SAFETY VESTS TO DIRECT YOU

Please check back closer to parade for directions.

1. A. The theme "96 Years Cultivating the Land by Hand " must be displayed prominently on your entry and visible to the judges to qualify for judging.
B. Entry Number must be placed in the passenger window visible to judges.
C. Your name of your business, organization, club must also be visible for judging.
​
2. Parade volunteers will be stationed at each line-up location to distribute numbers and assist with line-up. Parade Lineup locations will be announced on the Facebook Page on Sunday Sept. 28,2025. Numbers will be given as entrant enters the area. Float Captain Will be the only one to receive Number. Location is a 1st come 1st serve basis. Numbers will begin given at 4pm. on the day of parade. PLEASE DO NOT LINE UP BEFORE 4 PM.
3. Throwing wrapped candy, small throws and business promotional items is NOT permitted.
4. Performing for the judges WILL NOT BE ALLOWED .

5. ***Absolutely NO *** vehicles will be allowed in the line-up areas THAT IS NOT A registered parade vehicle(s). Please make arrangements to drop the riders off and park elsewhere.
​
DECORATIONS SHOULD DONE BEFORE GETTING IN LINE. IF YOU MUST DECORATE PLEASE DO SO BEFORE COMING INTO LINE UP AREA.

6. Entries will be judged on fair theme relevance, originality and appearance.
​
7. All parade entries and drivers must be ready in line parade lineup position 30(4:30 pm) minutes before start time.
​
8. ALL drivers MUST remain with vehicle at all times in lineup area.
​
9. Do Not throw ANYTHING while in lineup area. B. PLEASE REMOVE ALL TRASH. LITTERING WILL RESULT IN PROSECUTION.
10. Once the parade has started, please DO NOT STOP unless for an EMERGENCY.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY PLEASE CONTACT 911.
11. Once the parade has started all participants must remain on the car/truck, float, or walking with group until end of parade.
12. ABSOLUTELY NO THROWS , NO CANDY OR ANYTHING CAN BE THROWN FROM ENTRANT, DRIVER , FLOAT OR WALKERS.
13. ABSOLUTELY NO VULGAR OR EXPLICIT MUSIC ALLOWED!
14. All generators must be properly ventilated, and float must have at least 1 (one) fire extinguisher on the float if using a generator.
15. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PARADE ROUTE, ON THE FLOAT, IN VEHICLE. IF ALCOHOL IS DETECTED THE ENTRANT WILL BE PULLED FROM PARADE AND REPORTED TO THE DERIDDER CITY POLICE. THE ENTRANT WILL ALSO BE BANNED FROM FUTURE PARADES.

16. NO ATV , GOLF CARTS OR ANY UNREGISTERED STATE VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PARADE. ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE STATE REGISTRATION IN VEHICLE AND PROVIDE UPON REQUEST AT LINE UP.

17. ALL ENTRIES: ANY ENTRANT THAT HAS AN EXTENSION (TRAILER OF ANY KIND, FLOAT OR ANY THING CONNECTED TO VEHICLE) MUST HAVE 2(TWO) WALKERS EVERY 20 FEET.
18. ENTRANT /FLOAT CAPTAIN: ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE A FLOAT CAPTAIN. FLOAT CAPTAIN MUST WEAR An ORANGE REFLECTIVE VEST. This person is the Point of contact for this entry. If any problems should arise this person should be responsible for contacting the proper authorities.
19. All meeting points for the end of the parade must be on or after MEL BRANCH DR. (street that runs in front of Pinewood Elementary school.) and back parking lot areas of the fairgrounds. Please do not come back up(east)on West. Dr. to the Side gate of the fairgrounds. This will not be an entry point for anyone except special participants.
20. Handicap parking: AVAILABLE IN FRONT OF THE EXHIBITION HALL.
21.ENTRY GATES: There are two gates : one facing the ballfield and one facing Pinewood Elementary, where entry fees will be collected.
22. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO PAY THE ENTRY FEE. THE BEAUREGARD PARISH FAIR AWARDS PRIZE MONEY FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.

23. VIOLATION NOTIFICATION:
Any entrant found violating rules before or during the parade will be directed out of the line-up and reported to a police official for citation.
24. ALL QUEENS MUST BE ON 1(ONE) FLOAT, PER FESTIVAL.PLEASE COORDINATE WITH YOUR FESTIVAL .

25. NO PARADE ENTRERANT SHALL HAVE A FIREARM ON THEIR PERSON, FLOAT OR VEHICLE BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE PARADE.
"NEW ROUTE ALERT"
THIS YEAR'S LINE UP WILL START AT 4 PM! PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL DECORATIONS ARE COMPLETED ENTERING THE LINE.
ENTRY IS LIMITED TO THE FLOAT/VEHICLE IN THE PARADE.
LARGE GROUPSMUST ON THE FLOAT MUST LOAD AT SEPERATE LOCATION .
LOOK FOR THE MAP AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO ENTER INTO LINE UP AREA.

ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE COORDINATED WITH THE DERIDDER CITY POLICE AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED FOR EVERYONES SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT.
Please be courteous to our volunteers! They do not get paid for working.
Without volunteers the Beauregard Parish Fair cannot work properly!!
