RULES:
SPECIAL RULES
1. Civic, Commercial, Church/nonprofit, & Public Official: You are only allowed 1(one) Float/vehicle entry into the parade.
2. Each Entry must be entered and will be required to pay same as everyone else.
3. You are not allowed to ride a extracurricular activity vehicle in the parade. Vehicles and/or floats only!
4. All other Clubs (jeeps, side by side, car , truck and motorcycle ) Only 1(one) entry per club . 1st come 1st serve basis.
ALL NON STREET LEGAL VEHICLES MUST BE TRAILERED.

PLEASE LOOK FOR PARADE ATTENDANTS IN SAFETY VESTS TO DIRECT YOU

1. A.The theme "PRODUCING MORE IN 2024 " must be displayed on the entry and visible to the judges to be qualified for judging. B. Entry Number must be placed in the passenger window to be seen by judges. C. Your name of your business, organization, club must also be visible for judging.
2. Parade volunteers will be posted at the entrance to each line-up location to distribute numbers and help with line-up. Locations for Parade Lineup will be posted on the Facebook Page on Sunday Sept. 29,2024. Numbers will be given out as the Entrant enters the Lineup Area. Float Captain Will be the only one to receive Number. Location is a 1st come 1st serve basis. Numbers will begin given at 4pm. on the day of parade. PLEASE DO NOT LINE UP BEFORE 4 PM.
3. Throwing wrapped candy, small throws and business promotional items is permitted.
4. Performing for the judges is also encouraged but must be limited to no longer than 2 (two) minutes. Performances lasting longer than the allowed time will be disqualified.
5. ***Absolutely NO *** vehicles will be allowed in the line-up areas other than the registered parade vehicle(s). Please make arrangements to drop the riders off and park elsewhere.
DECORATIONS SHOULD DONE BEFORE GETTING IN LINE. IF YOU MUST DECORATE PLEASE DO SO BEFORE COMING INTO LINE UP AREA.

6. Entries will be judged on fair theme, originality and appearance.
7. All parade entries and drivers must be ready in line parade lineup position 30(4:30 pm) minutes before start time.
8. ALL drivers MUST stay with vehicle at all times in lineup.
9. Do Not throw ANYTHING while in lineup area. B. PLEASE TAKE ALL TRASH WITH YOU OUT OF LINEUP AREA. ANYONE CAUGHT LITTERING WILL BE PROSECUTED.
10. Once the parade has started, please DO NOT STOP unless for an EMERGENCY. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY PLEASE CONATCT 911.
11. Once the parade has started all participants must remain on the car/truck, float, or walking with group until end of parade.
12. Drivers are NOT allowed to throw from their windows.
13. ABSOLUTELY NO VULGAR OR EXPLICIT MUSIC ALLOWED!
14. All generators must be properly ventilated, and float must have at least 1 (one) fire extinguisher on the float if using a generator.
15. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PARADE ROUTE, ON THE FLOAT, IN VEHICLE OR HORSEBACK. IF ALCOHOL IS DETECTED THE ENTRANT WILL BE PULLED FROM PARADE AND REPORTED TO THE DERIDDER CITY POLICE. THE ENTRANT WILL ALSO BE BAND FROM FUTURE PARADES.
16. ALL ATV/UTV/SIDE BY SIDES MUST BE TRAILERED THROUGHT THE LINE UP AREA AND PARADE. THERE WILL BE NO ONE ALLOWED ON THESE TYPES OF VEHICLES ON PUBLIC CITY STREET UNLESS THE VEHICLE IS STREET LEGAL.
17. ALL ENTRIES: ANY ENTRANT THAT HAS AN EXTENSION (TRAILER OF ANY KIND, FLOAT OR ANY THING CONNECTED TO VEHICLE) MUST HAVE 2(TWO) WALKERS EVERY 20 FEET.
18. ENTRANT /FLOAT CAPTAIN: ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE A FLOAT CAPTAIN. FLOAT CAPTAIN MUST WEAR An ORANGE REFLECTIVE VEST. This person is the Point of contact for this entry. If any problems should arise this person should be responsible for contacting the proper authorities.
19. All meeting points for the end of the parade must be on or after MEL BRANCH DR. (street that runs in front of Pinewood Elementary school.) and backing parking lot areas of the fairgrounds. Please do not come back up(east)on West. Dr. to the Side gate of the fairgrounds. This will not be an entry point for anyone except special participants.
20. If you need Handicap parking, there is Handicap parking in front of the Exhibition Hall.
21.There are two gates, one facing the ballfield and one facing Pinewood Elementary that you may pay to enter.
22. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO PAY THE ENTRY FEE. THE BEAUREGARD PARISH FAIR PAYS OUT PRIZE MONEY FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.
THERE IS A "NEW ROUTE" THIS YEAR !! LINE UP WILL NOT START UNTIL 4 PM! PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL DECORATIONS ARE ON THE FLOAT BEFORE GETTING INTO LINE.
THERE WILL NOT BE ANYONE ALLOWED IN THE LINE EXCEPT FOR FLOAT / VEHICLE THAT IS IN THE PARADE.
ANYONE WITH LARGE AMOUNT OF PPL ON THE FLOAT MUST LOAD AT DIFFERENT LOCATION .
LOOK FOR THE MAP AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS TO ENTER INTO LINE UP AREA.

ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE IN CONJUCTION WITH THE DERIDDER CITY POLICE AND WILL BE ENFORCED TO THE FULLEST. THESE ARE HERE FOR EVERYONES SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT.
Please be courteous to our volunteers! They do not get paid for working.
Without volunteers the Beauregard Parish Fair cannot work properly!!
